Mark Adkins Named Director of Sales, James Hoffey to Lead National New Business Development
CLEVELAND, Ohio - September 10, 2026 - Surface Innovation today announced two leadership appointments effective immediately. Mark Adkins has joined the company as Director of Sales, and James Hoffey has been named to a new role, National New Business Development. The appointments reflect Surface Innovation's continued investment in its sales organization as the company builds on the growth initiatives currently underway across its brand portfolio.
Mark Adkins brings more than 35 years of sales leadership experience in the coatings industry, including senior sales and account executive roles where he has driven significant revenue growth and led high-performing sales teams. He has deep experience in distribution and channel management, strategic accounts, compensation and incentive design, and sales process development.
In his new role, James Hoffey will focus on identifying and developing new account opportunities across Surface Innovation's footprint, working independently on certain key initiatives as well as with the company's regional teams to expand its customer base and support the growth initiatives already underway.
